Aura PureAroma Radiant, Spray on Shine

The Ingredients are:
Alcohol Denat.,Cyclomethicone, Neopentyl Glycol Dioctanoate,Diisorpopyl Sebacate, Diisorpopyl Adipate, Basil Oil, Lavender Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethyl Ester if Hydrikyzed Silk, Benzophenone-4, Octyl Salicylate, Fragrance.

I really like this product. I think it leaves your hair looking very "lustrous"! It's a spray on shine so it's great to use when you don't feel like putting cones all over your hands and making them slippery for the rest of the day! I've also found that this works great on your ends. It doesn't seem to leave them looking greasy or oily like some spray on shines can.

B blonde Temporary Highlighting Spray

I just wanted to see how I would look with blonde highlights, so I bought this spray! I bought it in Platinum which I thought might be a nice color, but it's more whitish than blonde. The smell was making me choke as I sprayed it on, and it made my hair reaaaally dry! It was stiff where the color landed! I wouldn't recommend this unless you wanted highlights for a special occasion, and it's good because it washes out. It says to wash out with shampoo and warm water, but I rinsed with cool water and didn't use anything else, and it rinsed out fine.

Frizz-Ease Secret Agent (Weapon in the US) Flawless Finishing Creme

I wouldn't recommend using this product any other day than wash day, nor would I recommend using too much of this at once. I liked this because it served it's purpose, but not for a daily basis. I was putting my hair into a bun but it was very, VERY humid and I was getting lots and lots of frizzies! I smoothed some of this creme onto the top of my head and it quieted the frizzies very well. It doesn't make your hair as hard as hair spray, and if you apply just the right amount, it will hardly harden at all . It's good for frizzy days!

This product is MEANT to "Immediately restore 'silkening' moisture to 'quench' parched hair." I don't find that it does that because it hardens the hair a little, but it does smooth over the top for a sleek bun. It also contains sunscreen which is an extra bonus!

For the days which aren't wash days, I wet the top of my hair and pull it into a bun (if I have frizzies) to get a nice, sleek bun.

Warning: Product does contain cones...

I've used this product twice now, both times on dry hair. I use a nickel size dallop the first time, and two nickels sized dollops the second time. While my hair did not get oily either time, I think less is more with this product. I felt my hair was a little too sealed. It felt like it had something on it, which is something I don't really like. The cone content is a bit high for my likes, but I think this has its use. I like to apply it before rolling my hair into buns (for setting curls). With my wavy hair, it helps tame the mane a bit and keep the curls more defined. Just remember try less before you try more!

"Generic from Sally's Beauty Supply" Silk Treatment (compare to Biosilk, Silk therapy)

You can find this product at Sally's Beauty Supply. It comes in a 6 Fl. Oz. bottle for around $5.00.

The ingredients are:
Cyclomethicone,Dimethicone, SD Alchohol40-B, Panthenol, Ethyl Ester of Hydrolyzed Silk,Octyl Methoxyxinnamate, Fragrance, C12-15, Alkyl Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

I find this product to be very similar to Biosilk. The scent is a little different and it has a slight different feel on your hands, but once it is in my hair I can't tell the difference. It works exactly like Biosilk. Although it is a little more concentrated than Biosilk so you don't need to use as much. It's more like Biosilk than many other products I've tried. It doesn't seem to have that sticky feel that you can get sometimes from other cones.

ION

Ion Anti Frizz Gelle

This is the first gelle that has not made my hair crunchy, sticky, or just give my that product feel. I hate that also. I used this yesterday to scrunch my hair, went out in the rain, then detangled easily for me.

Shine Glossing/Detangle Mist

I am not one for glossers directly on my hair. So what I did was add a few drops to my mist.

I really love the Ion line, especially how it smells. It has done wonders for my color treated hair. If I remember correctly it was Tresses who mentioned it first, long ago. All this time I thought it had cones because I couldn't imagine a product helping me that much without cones. I would love to try eveyrthing in the line.

I just sprayed some on my fingers, it certainly feels oily, it didn't go away and I had to wipe it off. The first we used it, DH got a little over enthusiastic and over sprayed. It did make my hair look oily...shiny and detangled but oily. My hair is pretty wavy when wet, so it goes frizzy really easily, and that is what I wanted this for. It does do that, but if I bun curl my hair it seems to help keep the curl in too, maybe because it keeps my hair from drying out so bad. I don't think it's supposed to be a styling aid to keep curls in, but it seems to work that way for me. Smells nice too!

Ingredients: Cyclomethicone, Isoeicosane, Isododecane, Phenyl Trimethicone, then a bunch of botanicals which I am going to give you the common names for, because this is so hard to read, Nettle, Marigold, Camomile, Equisetum Hiemale Extract, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower seed oil), Octylmethoycinnamate, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalciterol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance

Thermal Heat Protection Spray

Well I bought the heat protective stuff that helps smooth and keep fizzies away and it's really weird. If you spray in onto your hair it's like a coat of plastic oil on it that stays stick straight in any position your hands make it.

I am now using it very lightly by spraying it onto my hands and them only applying to my layers which is what I use the straightening iron on.

It's strange stuff.

It sound like I should try the rest of the Ion line from Betty's reviews because I am blow drying and I know their line protects from heat damage.

L'Oreal Smooth Vive Serum

I have used the 3 products in this line for a month now, and I LOVE them! There are 3 products which include a shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment. I am sold on these. I only use the serum on the ends and length though, but I used the shampoo and conditioner on my scalp and length. I would recommend at least the serum for anyone dealing with really dry or tangly hair.

Phyto Phytodefrisant Balm

I've had this one for almost a year. A little goes a long way and it's great for rainy days or days when your hair has those fine fly away frizzy pieces. I love Phyto but it's pricey so I only get the important stuff like this one. It's not a silicone either. Phyto at Hairboutique

Cosmic Glitter, Glittering Hair Gel--Passion by USA Labs, Inc
It's blue, it's glittery, it's worthless! Bought this before I found this board, have tried it a few times. Doesn't even have enough gel to keep the glitter in your hair. It looks pretty in the bottle though! Now I know why I got it so very, very cheap.
